Anyone have the MPC 2500 SE???

If so, what does it come with out of the box? From what I've read it looks like it comes with the 128 MB Ram upgrade and the CD/DVD drive. It doesn't look like it comes with a built in hard drive.

I may buy one from overseas, just gotta find out what it comes with and about the power switch from UK to the US.

Thanks!

I have one. It comes with CD-drive, 128MB RAM and 120GB HDD already built in. It's totally worth it!

Regarding the power switch... i'd place a bet that the power supply inside the mpc can convert 110/220 volt. So all you need if you order from overseas is a power cable from your country (the same ones you use for your computer).

thanks!

from all the info i gathered, looks like i'll be good to go with it.

the only thing up in the air is whether or not it comes with the internal hard drive. all the info i got and off the video i watched on youtube about it, doesn't mention it. but you said yours came with the 120 gig.

i may just get it and if there is a hard drive in it that's just icing on the cake. if not i'll get a 120 gig and install it myself.

either way, i love the look of the 2500 se

i have an mpc 60 right now.

i've pretty much used or owned them all at one point or another.

my studio partner has 2 mpc 60's, mpc 3000 and 2 mpc 2000XL's

i had a 2500, but got rid of it. i wish i didn't. i'm in the market for another one and pricing out my options.

The HDD will be included, trust me, it's part of the deal.

EDIT: Seems i'm wrong about that, sorry! Here in switzerland there's two versions of the 2500SE. Standard 2500SE (comes with 128MB RAM and CD-Drive) and a 2500SE "Full Option" (comes with 128MB RAM, CD-Drive AND 120GB HDD). The full option version is 150 bucks more. Seems i got the full option and thought it was standard for the special edition.

I feel like an idiot now...

I noticed last night on eBay you can get a 250gig HD and mounting kit for £90.

The only difference between the SE and regular 2500 is cosmetic, so I don't see why JJ wouldn't work.

Straight off of JJ's website:

"This OS operates with the following product.
MPC2500, MPC2500LE, MPC2500SE"

I found a store that has them, so I jumped out the window and bought it. It should be a nice Collector's Item. 8)
