Mpc1000 and pod ux2

Hey still very new with the mpc1000 an I want to start recording some simple sequences and stuff I have a toneport ux2 and it has two line inputs on the back which I tried hooking up 1 and 2 of the mpc's mix outs but can't seem to get any signal, I've looked around with the search and haven't fiun anything, and haven't even been able to find much help on google. I realize the pod isn't the most practical of interfaces for the mpc but Ive had it aroun with me ring a guitar player and was hoping to still get something out of it. Any ideas?

the 1k has technically 6 outs, 4 channel outs and the 2 main stereo outs, by default the sound will come out of the main stereo outs, u need to go into the prgm and send it out of mix 1,2,3,4,or12,34

took your info an applied it man, and i gotta say thank you so much man, i took the stereo outs from the mpc and plugged them into the line in 1/2 in the pod and then recorded on the daw through send 1/2 and 3/4 and it worked! its not multitrack but its enough to get the songs out...cant say thanks enough bro!
