MPC5000 reviews, bug reports and fellow user support on the most recent standalone, hardware MPC from Akai
By pietermeij Sat Sep 18, 2010 8:54 pm
Hello,

I just got my MPC5000 and I am loving this machine. However I am also having some strange issues with it and posted these topics at MPC-forums.

However....am I wrong in assuming that the people at Akai Professional should actually be the ones to help me?

I mean...for three times now I sent them an e-mail in which I clearly explained the issues I ran into and guess what....NOT a single reply...not even a notification like "we received your mail" or "we are investigating things"...

Nothing at all!!

I am not happy with this kind of customer support and to be honest it just makes me very angry....

I really, really like the MPC but I can't stand this Akai customer attitude.

Just expressing my feelings...hopes someone at Akai reads this....well I just like to be optimistic!

Best regards,

Pieter

To ntalec!

Are you always that kind?

LoopmastersNonsense??? I think that you are the nonsense..posting on this forum....

I doubt that you even understood a little bit of what I was saying about my LoopmastersNonsense!

I hope I will not ever get an answer from you again.

One other person, who is also a new user said they had the problem, while others said it worked fine.
Works for me as well regardless if I load a single or whole folder from the LoopMasters library.
Wonder why?

Wonder why I asked such a stupid and silly thing....OK I'll give you the answer...I RTFM first....

Not even the point.
People told you in your thread that it worked for them so it would lead you to see that:
a) you have a corrupt folder
b) defective unit
c) pilot error

You could have asked someone who it works for to send you a folder or let you send them a folder.
Went to a local store to see what their unit did.
Tried resaving the folder.
As well as many other things.
Akai didn't create the library nor do they support it, so even if you were in contact with them they would offer little toward it.

Look. I don't know you two guys but please just agree to disagree so you can at last find common ground to stand on and move forward. The situation and problem are getting lost in translation. Piet, email me your issues and problem. I can send you my loopmasters folder to see if it helps. Send to [email protected] put mpc in the subject.
