***update***

Don't worry about it. I just popped on this site after 6 years (yes I had to re-register) thinking that this was still a gear discussion forum. I wasn't really expecting to get radiation from the fallout between the beatKangz and MPCforums. To me this is just a drum machine I was hoping to get some more gear insight on as well as find out what the background of these guys are. My apolog-- nah screw it. I ain't apologizing for asking a gear question on a gear forum. You have hard feelings with these guys tough titties. Pull the sand out your cooch and move in. Some of you guys are whining like a chick who's man left her for another girl. I've been collecting gear for years and I've been burnt by some big named companies that couldn't keep promises(Korg) or who's gear that didn't live up to the hype they created for it (Alesis)...but you live and learn. That's what the point of these forums are to help other folks out trying to find answers about prospective gear. It's not that hard.

if you want to talk about it go to the beat wang forums, you'll get flamed if you try to discuss it here, for good reason

even ignoring the product, they marketed it on this forum by insulting people - so they're not very popular

expect this thread to be locked in 3 ... 2 ... 1 ...

Well I don't know the history of the kangz and this forum. I don't really spend time posting in forums unless I'm trying to find out more about new gear or some good sources for sounds. Other than that I just read up about gear on review websites like harmony and sonic. The only product I know about of the Kangz is the SB 246 I brought over 3 years ago. Since then I forgot about them until I saw that shot of the Beat thang. So anything related to these guys is a mystery to me still. So try to understand not everyone out there is looking to start riots. Some of us just want to learn about what gears coming out.

but it's cool... I haven't seen people this worked up over a drum machine since korg announced the Electribes.

Nothing bad. People were just excited about them... maybe a little too excited because the Vs. arguments started. Where people would compare the electribes to other gear out there alright...well I mean to Rolands Groove boxes. But it was funny because Korg announced 3 versions of them and at that time no one had even heard them play yet or knew how they played. But the real reason was that they were just a mystery and came out of no where. I mean the King of boards had just dropped dethroning the Trinity, and then Korg threw these in our faces and then the Kaoss pad... it was crazy.
