Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Is this possible, fellas?

What I'm trying to do is this:

Oscilate between different loaded programs - One program has a chopped sample across the A Bank, and a different program of drums also has samples loaded across the A Bank. How can I use these both at the same time and go back and forth between the two?

I apologize if this has been answered or explained before, but I'm not finding anything. I appreciate the help. Thanks.

Simple...put one of them on the B bank and use the Bank button to switch between them.

Otherwise, check out how the DRUM 1, 2, 3, 4 work.

Cheers.

Thanks for the reply, but I think you're misunderstanding what I wanna do.

Lets say I have a drum program loaded, and I then want to bring in a sample to chop. If I chop the sample and have it spread on the pads, my drum kit is gone. There must be some way to use both simultaneously.

Like Stilo said, Assign your programs to seperate DRUM holders and assign these to your tracks in the main window.
then you can use up to 4 programs at the same time.

Press SHIFT and 6 PROGRAM
Choose a DRUM holder (1-4)
Press the corresponding f button
Assign a program to it.
Repeat for the other DRUM holders and PROGRAMs

Assign the DRUM holders in the MAIN window.

do it manually. don't let the machine assign the samples since that will automatically create a new program.
and cosign on

Yours, my friend. Dope and simple.

I just got a new 2000xl - had one before. This new one is loaded. It's the blue MCD version, 8-outs, and EB16 effects board. I haven't even figured out how to use the effects yet, but the unit is packed.
