Reviews and questions about the entry-level MPC500

Hey,
I've just bought an MPC500, waiting for it to arrive but was just wondering if the sound quality through speakers will differ if I use the headphone output and use an adaptor to AUX in, or the main output jacks.

I have downloaded the pdf manual, and it says the headphone jack 'mirrors the signal from the [OUTPUT] jacks' but I was just wondering if there is a noticeable difference.

Thanks for any help!

No difference in sound depending on the amp and headphones you are going to use. If you're using sh!tty headphones and a nice sound system or vice-versa, then yes there will be a difference in sound.

Overall the MPC500 got a nice sound, almost silky smooth.

The 1/4" on the back is probably considered the correct way to output to a PA system, but since it's not balanced the TRS headphone jack is going to be pretty much the same.
