Ok folks, here are the shortlisted tracks in no particular order.

Had to bend the limits for instrumental works, but this shouldn't affect the balance of the project.

2. Lyfe Support - Prah_860, Produced by DJ Hellfire
3. Three Generations - Chat One, Produced by Slademan
4. Forgive Them Father - Jeye Severe, Produced by Slademan
5. Badman (Pt2) - Lowkey The Outlaw, Produced by Quietizkept
6. Drink The Pain Away - Pete Pluto, Produced by Elevated
7. The Man In My City - Zo Zilla, Breadman Swag & A-Mitch of EGF, Produced by Sinister Keys
8. Infamous - Substance, Produced by Sinamatik

9. Substance - Produced by Gertie
10. Kocayne - Produced by Gertie
11. Phathead - Produced by Gertie
12. Date With The Rain - Produced by B.Read
13. Going Back - Produced by B.Read
14. Great Day - Produced by B.Read
15. Don't Give Up - Produced by KappNeffect
16. Let It Ride - Produced by Low Tone Brotha
17. Grime Daily - Produced by J.Messey
18. Save Your Love - Produced by J.Messey
19. Jobless - Produced by Inflict3
20. Resting In Peace - Produced by Inflict3
21. Lost In '95 - Produced by Coz

All shortlisted producers (and possibly Prah_860) are eligible for a prize from MPC-Tutor upon release of the finished product.

Refer to Tutor's post earlier in this thread to discover what that prize may be. I shall be forwarding your names to him in due course.

Any promotion of the upcoming release on your music sites would be appreciated although I don't have a firm date as yet other than October 2010.

There may be a few surprises to come, but we'll have to wait and see!

Thanks to everyone who submitted, there were some tough decisions to be made as the submissions were varied in style.

The project got off to a slow start, but I knew you guy's would help revive this thing.

If I've made any mistakes with names, PM me to let me know.

Cheers Clint. 8)

I just wondered what happened to the - "Any single producer may have a maximum of two entries on the final shortlist." part?

Also, no entry from Pound this time?

Not sure what the problem is... He said instroh's were cool?

Rule 3. Tracks can be full songs complete with vocals or they may be instrumental. Instrumental submissions must have both rhythmic and melodic content;

I'm not sure about Gertie, Tyrone, Low Tone, Mess, inflict, and Coz- but mine sure as hell do :D

shit, if i knew peeps who would spit over my shit i would have done a full track, but i dont, and the rules did say instrumentals too. maybe next time, lol, this is the first time ive submitted anything for a forum mix-tape. im pretty happy.. hope everyone doesn't cry cause of the instrumentals.. truth be told, i bump the instrumental mpc-forum mix-tape way more then i bump any of the other ones. some times i just want the rapper to be quiet so i can hear the damn beat. anyone else agree?
