Im A skratch DJ since the summer of 1984 and a Graffiti Artist since 1988.
Ive NEVER heard "HIP HOP" (MUSIC), Ive heard of rap music and things like that and I quite sick of the brain washing that POP culture has made to force feed that ISM on people!

If I have to accept the garbage that is coming out now as hip hop to be correct then I don't want to be right. In this instance, Intolerance is the only answer. I don't think you are a hip hop fan if you're alright with what has happened to the culture and the music.

I think people should stop using "big corporation" as an excuse. I think we are on a verge on a music wave that will kill alot of major labels. No one is buying CD's anymore, everyone can make music just by buying a mac,. Record Sales, including Itunes are at an all time low. In the next few years I hope Real MUSIC creeps back into the mainstream, and it will be cause something new is created & enjoyed. And that will probably not be someone signed to a Major label, cause labels don't have the Ballz or Money anymore to gamble on a new sound. Its going to be in our hands, to drown out the played out sh!t, and create something new.

Hip-Hop aint dead, its just malnurished and underfed-Geo of Blue Scholars. I must say that Hip-Hop isnt dead you just gotta dig into the underground. And all that commercial mainstream bulls**t shouldn't even be classified as hip-hop, its hip-pop.
