MPC 1000 USB CABLE

Hey everyone, i just got an mpc 1000 and im still learning how to use it. so far its great but i have already noticed that i need to update the software. Problem is i dont have the USB cable for it. I tried looking up what type of cable i need but haven't found anything close. Where could i find a cable for this mpc 1000? frys? guitar center?
Also, which operating system would you guys recommend? The one thing i would like to have is to record live over my beats.

did you try putting "usb cable" into google?
the first hit is wikipedia, which has a whole section on connector types and diagrams of the right shape, telling you the names for those shapes. you fail at internets. sell your mpc and buy a tambourine.
