To me (starting with the 2000xl to infinity) whichever MPC you get, you got a good machine. The 2000xl is a total BEAST, and I heard the 4000 still have a few bugs left in it. Not like it did, but bugs none the less. I used a 1000 for a couple of weeks, and like it. But wouldn't dare part with my 2000xl!! You can get them on the "Bay" easily!!
