Mac advice

If i was you instead of blowing $500 on a G4 why not wait a few weeks and save up some more money. You can get a G5 for $700-$1000 and it will be well worth it in the long run. Theres always good deals out there, I bought mine last year with a ton of software (Logic pro, Reason etc etc..) for $800.

i dont know if you noticed, but the original post is from 2004 :p , but i asked this a few posts ago:
is anyone familiar with the stock soundcards of imacs? i might be able to get one for (almost) free (i think its four years old), but im not sure if i should bother.. depending on how the quality of its soundcard is.
