song to sequence converting trouble

I have a song with sequences all how i want it and when i play it through in song mode its perfect.
but when i convert it to one long sequence i cant hear parts. ive tried different things nothings working.
anyone know what i could be doing wrong?

Make sure all your tracks on every sequnce used , match one another, and you should be good to go.

I have actually run into this same problem and I read in the manual about checking to make sure the tracks match each other. When I set up my sequences I recorded all the takes in sequence I then copied them to different sequences then muted out the tracks. Then when I had the problem in song mode I read on going to Seq Edit and using TrMove. I didn't do anything here because all the tracks were in the same order, am I supposed to move the tracks in the order I want played to the front and the tracks I want muted to back in each sequence? When I play after converting the song it just plays one sequence. Thanks for any help.

I believe that you will find that track mutes will be set by the song covert window.....
Track status : REFERENCED TO FIRST TRACK
so it will ignore your sequence track mutes when you make a sequence from a song, and use first track as reference for the track mutes in the new sequence created.

Make sense? it has happened to me and i just delete stuff in the sequencer. I kinda use track mutes for live playing and jammin and have the main song sequenced out before hand.

I finally figured this out ... I learned about keeping sounds on separate tracks (kick, snare, hi hat, sample etc.) and making sure all the tracks are matched up to sequence 1 on the subsequent sequences ... then on all my sequences except for sequence 1 I turn the program off on each track that I'm not using for that sequence then when I convert it I go to mute tracks ignored go back to main turn the loop off and there is the song in one long sequence exactly as I laid it out ... I was beyond ecstatic when this worked
