Don't know if its been asked before, but seeing as theres so many covers of this track, most with dope drums, just wondering what everyones favourite is.

Personally i think the drums on Allen Toussaints version are the nicest sounding, one of the sickest snares i've ever heard.
I've noticed Pete Rock uses this break ALOT, aswell as Dilla.

Musically i think Joe Williams jazz cover is amazing, i can listen to that loop thats sampled to death forever and it never gets boring, its so dope. I think his vocal rendition is brilliant aswell.

Mr. Guiness, the break on the fireballs version is ill, i ain't got that one.

I forgot, for me beatwise, the Q65 and the new apocalypse covers come in second and third to Allens, i'm a sucker for late 60s rock drums. Still on the hunt for that 'stainless soul' LP.
