How do you smoothly transition two songs when you are burnin

How do you smoothly transition two songs when you are burning a cd. For example song 1 runs into songs 2 with no dead space and the track number on the cd player switches to track 2.
Im sure this is a simple question but I dont know how to do this.

I use Sonic Foundry's CD Architect.

In most CD burning software (or at least Nero 6) there is an option that says "No pause between tracks".

Select that option.

Presto.

you can also make one large track in mixing software, then put cue points in when buring the file to cd.

Unless you are talking about a DJ mix, which is like 60 minutes of songs blending into each other. In that case, load up the mix into your favorite Wave Editor software (I use Cool Edit), and find the exact end/beginning of each track.

For example, lets say there are 16 songs. highlight song 1 from beginning to the exact point where song 2 starts. Cut, Copy to new, save, name TRACK1. Repeat for song 2,3,4, etc.

In the end, your 16 songs should be neatly separated, even though they came from a continuous mix. Put them in order in your CD burning software (track1, track2, track3, etc), and then choose the above option "No space between tracks".

Presto again.

I have Roxio and it doesnt have that option. Ill look into Nero 6 though.
What about if I just wanted only two tracks to run into each other without a pause and the rest of the cd to have pauses. I only have a few songs that need to be blended on my CD. Is that possible?

for some reason, i have tried tht, cutting up in sound editor, and have seperate tracks, then load them into nero 6, with no pause between tracks option, but i have noticed, if the edits are to close, it gives a couple of millisec gaps. i am still working on it, i am yet to try this, after creating markers, then converting them to regions, i burn tht in directly in soundforge. any other suggestions
