yeah but that is the point isn't it.... no matter what he did it shouldn't happen. you could poor rubbing alcohol in there and it shouldn't smoke... Quality components and proper components are expected with a 2 thousand dollar sampler. that is what the 2 thousand dollars is supposed to pay for... (or 3 thousand dollars if he got it when it came out)

ahhh m8 that is so nonsense you can pay 200 thousand pound for a car but if you hit a wall its still gonna smash to pieces come on now

I purchased a 5k several days ago. I don't see the hype concerning this machine. I'll post my list of pros and cons when it is convient for me to do so.

true, but if you put your key in the lock you dont want your car door to fall off... which is what would happen if numark made the car.

Static is a electronic killer. Make sure you have a non conductive mat under your work station as well as on carpet. Hard wood or laminate flooring is best. Also socks are a no no. Wear shoes. Non conductive. Static is a silent overlooked killer.

ha ha ha im so pleased i started this thread been such a laugh, yeah the gaia is a cool bit a kit got a really fat sound i love tweaking with it well worth the money and its really helped me get a better understanding of synthasis ive had it a few months and im already almost competant at making the sounds in my head now :) it comes with a nice little booklet explaining in easy terms how to go about making ya differant sounds ie, pads, bass, leads, fxs, it really comes into its own when you start doin your rises and downers

Is that Gaia do any LFO Dubsteppy ish?

I bet assigning that infered sensor to the LFO, and a sine wave, you could make mad dubstep.

if it is possible to control the automation on that then that would be cool...

I think I will have to look at some videos on the gaia on youtube because it sounds like a lot of bang for your buck.
