am i gonna need maxed out memory?

i recently got a 2000xl and it only has standard mem so do i really need more memory? thanks in advance

yup.......I aint even gonna bullsh!t you......once you load a program and if you are gonna sample anything on top of that, yeah your gonna need more room

You'll need it eventually...But you'll be fine just starting off with standard mem.

I was told it makes the system run better with maxed memory. some producer I met a G.C. Mine had it already when I got it .

I've had my XL for about a week now, and I'm feelin' the limitations with only 2mb. Not that I'm making dope beats (yet, haha) but I DO run out of space for my sounds.

remember there are pros out there that don't use that much. so it's really how u flip it.

but don't get me wrong the upgrade is nice still.

Get the 2x16 or 1x32 memory sticks.

Check the back of the manual for the specific chips to get though cause not all of them like to "work together" or work at all inside the MPC.

Damn your a soldier. I upgraded my ish within a week. 2mb is not enough for me cause I like to work on alot of different beats/samples at once.
