Disable midi note in??

How to disable note input from external midi source but keep midi clock to be received by the mpc??
I have the mpc synced with an external hardware via the midi clock and i don't want the mpc to receive anything but the clock messages (like the notes).....

think its in the 'midi' screen, you need to change the midi active track settings

yes there is... but the only possibilities are ALL and ch. 1 - 16 which is not exactly what i am looking for...

hiya. i don't know if you need to.
I'm running external synths, and the way i do it is this:
midi keyboard - assign midi transmit to either 1, 2 or 3 depending on what i want to play.
mpc - recieve on all channels
mpc - assign synth track to 1a for synth a, 2b for synth b, 3c for synth c
but in the main page, on a track that's to run a synth, turn the [program] field to off. then no mpc sounds get played.

Isn't that in the options or midi section? You can tell it what to do with midi notes if I remember correctly.
