You will need either...
a) A pair of ACTIVE MONITORS or
b) A pair of PASSIVE MONITORS and an AMPLIFIER
You will need to record or load a sample to make a bassline.
Ignore the previous answer, it contributes nothing to you as a potential user/ owner.

Midi headphones are the new craze. I only paid 1500 for mine.
or you could get the mpc1000 mk5, which of course comes with internal clock radio speakers.
