Fantom X7 & Mpc2500

Greetings,

I have a Fantom X7 connected to my MPC 2500 via midi, I am having a problem being able to sequence more then one sound from the fantom. Whenever i change the midi track on the MPC, the sound from the X7 changes , from my understanding i should be able to sequence much more sounds from the X7 at the same time. I do not have the manuals for the X7 and I do know how to connect it via midi to the MPC...Can anyone share some info on how I should go about doing this...

By default most synths only receive midi on one channel.

The manual is the best place to find the settings required.
