Any update on the sample dropout issue?

Has anyone heard from akai on this issue? I've tried callin their tech support lines now about 10 times but cannot get through. Just wondering if anyone has any news on this issue as I'm sure I'm not the only one out there who is getting a little pi$$ed about this.

Any info whatsoever would be greatly appreciated.
