no loss really cos people that i do studio work for aren't going to notice a little sound quality after it's been mixed and eq-d - they'd rather have the speed of the PC-transfer and less programming cost per session! but for my own stuff when i like to take a lot more care i think i'll stick to sampling manually...
i am a relative newbie to MPCs although not to sampling. i like the "Best Start" function in the Edit Sound screen a lot so far! saves having to go through manually and find that start point that makes it all sound tight.
does everyone use the "Best Start" feature or are there hidden problems with it?
