I cannot synchronize MPC as a master with Cubase LE4 (JJ OS1)
mode - pad9 - F2 -
Sync out: A (connected to midi in in my computer).

I tried midi clock, and Midi time code and doesn't work. What for is the "Frame rate" setting and what should be there?

And what about cubase? :
Transport - sync setup - midi timecode (Midi in: Delta AP -my soundcard)
What for is "lock frames" and "drop out" "inhibit restart" settings?

I tried to put the same value in mpc (frame rate) and cubase (lock frames) but still doesn't work. I tried also SYNC - IDLE button in cubase. Still nothing.

It's working fine when Cubase is the master.

Working!

Thanks, I didn't set the "30 frame rate" instead of 30D as written.

It works quite good, with small "sync" delay at the beginning.

Thank you for help.

One another question: it is nothing wrong with "double" synchronization - Cubase as a master and MPC as a master?
I will not need that, just I'm courious. Then you can hit "play" at MPC or Cubase ant still is synchronized...

There's no "double synchronization" but you can set it up so the MPC is the MTC master and Cubase is the MMC master. This way you can control the MPC via Cubase and still keep the MPC as the master sequencer. Set up the MPC to recieve MMC and Cubase as MMC master. I think you'll need another midi cable going from your interface midi out to MPC midi in.
