I just ordered an MPC 2500SE today.

It comes with the 128MB Ram Upgrade and CD/DVD Drive, but I don't think it comes with the internal hard drive.

My question is for those that bought an MPC 2500SE that didn't come with the internal hard drive. Does it have the HDM-10 hard drive tray in it or do I have to buy an internal hard drive and also the HDM-10 tray?

Thanks!

that's what i thought too, but i ended up ordering the tray with the hard drive just in case.

they only charge $26 for the HDM-10 tray, so if i don't need, i'll have an extra one.

when i get my 2500SE i'll post up what it came with so if other heads get one they will know.

also got an ASR-10 coming soon.

my gear game is up right now!!!!!!!!!!!

no doubt! man, just to say you did it... you should try and build a beat using every sampler you got over there. midi it together so it all plays at once if that is even possible.. haha

all my samplers are like women. i can't have 1 and be happy, but i do use them all.

each one has a certain sound and feel to it.

there will def be some midi goin on. prob the mp 60 & asr-10 combo and the mpc 2000XL & asr-10 combo. the 2500 is so powerful it stands on its own.

all of them can stand on their own too. i got lots of producing to do!!!

no doubt. thanks

there's 3 producers in Nod...

Jack Horner aka Uncle Nutty
EDK (Iceman & Easy Andy)

we're all on the beat grind nightly!

Uncle Nutty uses the MPC 60, 2000XL, 2500SE, ASR-10 and Ableton Live
Iceman uses the SP 1200
Easy Andy uses the SP-303, MPC 60 and Ableton Live

my money came up, so instead of buying new clothes, kicks, etc...

i went on a gear buying spree. that's my passion anyway, so...

mpc 60 is staying
mpc 2000XL is here waiting for some love
mpc 2500se is gettn all the love right now
asr-10 is waiting for me to get it.

i love all those pieces of gear and i'm glad i got them all. use whatever suits my mood that day.

p.s. i am not one of those collector guys that just lets them sit. i can and will get busy on all of them. i def use my gear.

May the Gear Gods Bless You All...

yeah man what I need to do is find something to put my mpc on to get it to a good height and angle so I can use it for longer amounts of time straight cause my back is in terrible shape.. right now I have it on this .. thing, this table that works fairly well but I can maybe spend like 15 minutes on it before I need to take a break... problem I think is that table thing is too short and the other potential table is too high... lol.
