CPU Address error?!?!?!?!?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am really upset right now with my MPC. I have been sampling for a good hour or so then I decided to go into the trim page to cut down some of the samples. When doing this the screen scrolled down and all these funky numbers and letters came up. And it said CPU Address error. Does anybdy know what this means???I've had my drum machine for about 7 months now this has never happened. It was really strange. I could see half of the edit icon in the top right corner.

Please inform if this has or has not happened to you.

P.S I have not been getting my OS updates. Could this possibly solve the problem???
It works fine now I just don't want it to happen again.

never happened to me dude, no messages liek that, althoguht soemtimes when i dont have the starting point at 0 on a sample, then it may have ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? through out the sample

Ontario, Kitchener to be exact. I picked it up at a Sherwood music store they claim they get all there MPC's from the states. I'm debatting on getting a new one if my warranty isnt up.....

That sucks man, I would be really pissed off. Hopefully this wont happen to me , kNock on wood. When did you get your mpc?

Yep I got this problem too from few days in the seq edit mode :-/

I solved that by copying/replacing tracks.

But, i'm still anxious ...

Could be... man, the 1000 OS Update 2.1 is amazing. You really need to get on that.

no the update is not gonna resolve it. i had that problem a week ago with the 2.1 OS. although you MUST update to get the nice new features.

I too have had the same issue with 2.1.

me as well with 2.10 today also 7 months old
