FINALLY!!! Today I'm picking one up. Since my first post in this topic, it's been a **** trying to get my hands on one. Korg had my pre-order for a month and I got tired of waiting. Saw them on Nova Musik's site and they ran out but took my money anyway. Got the runaround from the shipping person (felt like I was talking to someone at Akai... for real. lol). So I got my money back, was gonna order at Sweetwater since the dude told me they'll be more in stock on 10/13. Checked last night, still backordered.

Guitar Center's website showed it in stock at the Commack store. By the time I called them they had 3 left, put a credit card deposit over the phone and picking it up today.
I NEVER seen ANY instrument that was so hard to get without running out of stock. KORG clearly underestimated the amount of sales they have had with this synth, and they're trying to keep up with the demand. For the price, they should've known it would be like trying to buy a Nintendo Wii when it first came out.

Anyway, I'm psyched. It's only 9:00am here. So I'm looking for as many mods as I can find until it's time to head out. I like what I've seen posted so far. But considering theres no room for error in that small case, I'm diggin' deep for the best ideas I can find.
If anyone's got any more mod pages to share, this would definitely be the topic to share it in.

i'm sold. now my momma knows what to get me for christmas.

:D

cool. you'll find alot of use for it. want fat basslines? the monotron will fill up the room.
sample with it, run samples through the filter back into the mpc etc. etc.
theres so many mods for it too. i havent modded mine yet, but i will soon. it's definitely worth having in the studio and to take anywhere.

cool, make the most of it. there's so much potential in this little analog synth, that it will become a sought-after classic.

Very happy with mine, didn't put it down for about 2 days lol.
Impressed with the battery life, I was worried when I read the insrtuctions and it said 8 hours but it lasted much, much longer than that!!

arrived 2 days ago
sounds very good.
the cutoff/resonance filter is cool, i've tried it with the sp1200, some records and some wav loops.
the LFO is sick! acid bass sounds and the kick drum sounds generated are dope
the price/quality rate is good
thanks to all of you guys for the infos
