PIcs of your cribs..

there is a speaker manufacturer locally who makes speakers from scratch, they mostly do drivers for large rigs like stadiums and huge venues... they did our baseball stadium and other stuff. Anyways, these guys provide service to small companies and for people as well... they do reconings and they sell speakers for if you are building your own setup.

they have a 21" woofer that has a resonant frequency of like 24hz, and I think it's something in the neighborhood of 1250watts rms 2500 peak. you can bet that will put out stuff at 20 hz... but I am not sure what cabinet design those particular speakers were designed for, which is what actually counts the most.

i wasn't going to post this, as I thought it might come over as show offy, or something, which isn't the intention. I've got these because my job is doing pa rentals @ festivals, but now it's the winter (nearly) there's less work, so i put one into the house, and it's just soooo nice having the lows play so easily. it's not like i play them loud, they hardly even register on the amps LED's, but the sound just makes it a really nice place to mess around with synths & sequences.





I have to admit, i'm not doing breaks, more electro - techno - psytrance, but i was determined not to use a computer to run it, and tried a few different sequencers out, but they all felt like toys. then came across the mpcs, which looked great on the specs, so i sold a few things, got one, and although it took quite a while to get used to it, I love it. it's just exactly what i needed to control everything, without a computer, and with massive sampling abilities too. bonus. there's still heaps more to learn about it, but hey, that's what winters are for.

It's quite funny having an insight into a scene that i know very little about, but hey, respect. nice to meet you all.

Thanks for fixing the images. That mixes is Behringer Xenyx 2222FX. I traited it to my old PS2. Good deal or what?

Its dope! Doubles as an interface and records all your EQ, Compressor and limiting paramaters. Its firewire, so theres hardly to no latency. Clean sounding preamps, with mic/line/inst/bus inserts on each channel.Onboard anologue modleled effects.4 band parametric EQ for each channel w/ gain control for each band. Full compressor assignable to each channel. Hi pass filter, Digital output option, tight gate. I mean this thing replaces years of rack collecting.
