Pads Velocity/Sensitivity

Hey guys, my very first post was about the double triggering(flam) thing the pads do, I've now mastered the art and believe my pads are now as you said "worn in" but I still always find myself playing with full level on because I cant get the right velocity out of the pads. either that or ill use my keys and its perfect.

When tracking stuff I always have to increase the velocity in step edit by about 40....

I've experimented with the sensitivity level but still cant get it perfect.
I also have an Emu XL-7 and I get a really good velocity curve out of the pads on that, anyone else found the same thing/got any ideas?!

Maybe a nice velocity curve option could be possible for a future OS update?

Yeah whats up with that double triggering? I can play the pads with full level off and not have it happen most of the time, but sometimes..

u should just learn how to wack it. It takes a while to get it. u gotta hit them bastards hard as hell.

nah I like the double triggering thing, its the velocity that im having problems with, it feels like I need to get out some drum sticks to get the full level out of them!!!!

it feels like thats what I need to do to get good velocity out this beast.
Im only asking because I want to know if its a mpc thing or its MY mpc being a fk.
