yea. now that i think about it. i never remember rechargables lasting this long, but the last time i used them was in a hotter climate so that must be the reason!! now i live in seattle it stays cool here.. great point ill...

Honestly, the only reason I can see to get a 2000xl from an MPC 500 is just for getting the 8-out expansion and the effects card, which cost even more money. At the end of the day, you shoulda just got a 2500 anyways, if you think you need to upgrade from the 500 to the 2000xl.

there's been some pretty bad advice thrown around in this thread, but since you got the 2kXL and enjoy it, you made the right choice
