Incompentent repair tech?

Truth is truth, ameen. Look at the dates. Oh bout to pick up up the moog voyager 3000 US. I guess I gotta defend that

You dont know what I own stupid.

nah you wouldn't need to defend a moog... cause their reputation hasn't gone down the drain... they still hold the same good reputation they had for the past 30+ years.... well, using quality components doesn't hurt.

ah look, I have a fan now  stop calling me "mayne" though, that shit is dumb. just cause you talk like that in real life doesn't mean you need to try and project that over the internet.

and ray you hypocrite, how come all of a sudden you are in love with the mpc series? I thought your 1) mpd and mpk, your 2)bpm, and 3) your maschine were SO much better and everyone in the world should switch over to what you think is good.

gtfoh... you already proved to the world you make garbage music with what ever gear you are using this week.

I have worked with alot of artists spaning from coast to coast. nobody says "main" anymore yo. I love the 5k and the 3k. Yet the most common by far is the 4k and 2500 series. I have yet to see a machine. I think its a overpriced under built tool that was maketed by paying a.few artists to back it rather than listing artsts and credits in which it was used. Its perfect for the youtube 15 mins of fame type like you. I wont even list any big producers that i have had the pleasure of meeting but i can tell you that the heart of most big producers studios is a mpc for sequencing. Take the machine and use it as a.door stop at the un- employment office when you go get your check. One.....

exactly, in fact just to make it interesting I will mention one big shot who used the maschine..... jermain dupri. however was he really using it? absolutely not, he only used it to sequence the included sounds on his mpc60.

when is this MPC forum going to understand MPC/Maschine is not always about hiphop ?

I know quite some producers of Minimal/Techno do use Maschine when composing their tracks.
Check Richie Hawtin...but ok, for hiphop heads might be a 'never heard of' allthough this man probably sold more records then quite some 'famous' MPC hiphopper you all might be referring to.
Maybe other types of music producers do not need to show off with their equipment like most of MPC 'producers' do by putting any beat they created on youtube...most of them are -in my opninion- not really making an MPC shine.

Words from Ali Shaheed Mohammed from A Tribe called Quest..probably untrue

"What do you get when you mix Maschine Hardware with Maschine Software? One ambidextrous bad ass machine!" ... "The hardware and software beats any drum machine based work station out now in the market."

WTF man.. I'm all for showing haters there's nothing left to hate about the MPC 5K, but is it really needed to make stupid comments like that and derail the thread even further?

Let the people use whatever they feel comfortable with.. be it a Maschine or a MPC..

even though it sucks for the owner

This is definitely one reason to hate the 5000. It's a shame. It's happened to a number of people with no support from Akai. ( Numark) I never seen this happen to any other MPC.
