Hi guys, first post
I purchased my first MPC just over a week ago.
I've been using a PC and have used plenty of apps/hardware over the past ten years and have kept up with the latest (rise of Maschine etc).
I had the chance to grab a maxed out MPC and took it... this thing rules, sure I could do things a lot quicker via PC but there is something about the MPC and its flow that is promoting creativity...
Cool Story Bro.
Anyway, I've been reading the manual because 1: Thats what you should do
and 2: I've been lurking here and noticed that RTFM or some variant of the answer seems to be the default here.
Ok, one thing I can't seem to find in the manual (among others) is a quick preview function. I basically want to be able to preview sounds before applying.
I know these can be previewed after they are loaded but loading 100's of samples can be tedious.
If this can't be done (from what I know, I'm guessing it can't) is there any way that I can load a whole folder instead of going through and selecting every .snd file?
Reason being, I am yet to sort out a zip drive setup for my PC so I have sampled a crack load of drum kits to keep me working in the mean time.... took forever... but was worth it.
Thanks for your help guys.
I have plenty more questions as I've seen people do a lot more than the manual lets on ... but I'll give it some time.
