Hi guys,

Have been lustfully looking at the Access Virus for a while now, but failed to notice the Snow until recently.

The main things it lacks from the full TI are the obvious nobs and faders and it is only 4 part as oppose to 16...

Has anyone had any experience with the unit? Is it a worthy substitute if the full version is financially impossible lol.

Thanks people.

i owned one for the last year. the sounds are great and it has a great integration with software. also it doesn't take a lot of space. the user interface is dense, though quite good. of course, the realtime access via knobs to almost every parameter of the big brother is extremely nice. the sound is the same. another big plus of the snow are the dac, they sound phat! the reason i sold it was the amount of sounds it has (i think it comes with 1000 patches). i'm more on the reductionist side and prefer less options. hope that helps.

nah, the 4 parts never bothered me. more the faster access to all the parameters could have one wishing for the bigger version. though for me it was just overkill. 1000 something patches! i'm more into reduction..
