[mpc2000] problem: blank screen, leds blocked

hello mpc friends !

i am french so sorry for my poor english language

after long years without using my mpc2000, i decided to re-use it (some people stole my laptops)
but HORROR: blank screen and leds block on....(when i say blank,( i say blank but there is the white usual light, but no text etc...)
have you some idea how i can find where the problem is? or how can i resolve it?

can it be a fuse problem?
it should be some fuse in it, i guess...

make sure all the cables are seated properly... and the connections are all good. Also make sure the RAM is connected properly. After years cables can come loose... even if the machine was not moved.

i just finished to unplug/replug all cables.
nothing change , blank "white light" screen, and all leds on...
the floppy didn't try to load. no sound and no light. i put OS on zip, but the mpc don't try to load anything....
i remember mpc's send a message when the OS can't be load or for any other problems. but here nothing just a nice white light screen....
so it s should be one other problem.

hmm... I would remove the ram expansion, and any other expansion... even the floppy. try turning it on with every possible non vital thing attached and see what happens. try and narrow out where the problem may be.
