behringer eurodesk

have any of you ever used a behringer eurodesk?

I'm considering purchasing one of these and wanna know if its good.. it looks like it does everything I need.. basically its just a multi channel mixer for hookin up multiple instruments.. here's a feature list:

Its only $549.99 and i feel I need this mixer or one like it to hook my instruments up to.. right now i kinda have it jimmy rigged where i have to hook/unhook cables up to my shitty receiver whenever i wanna use a seperate instrument..

we are really not gonna know what you need.....but this mixer is tough......def. coppable....you can hook up a couple efx processors to it and you are good homie.....if you have a few instruments and not looking to buy more you might wanna cop a 16 channel mixer though......they are much smaller

i don't know about y'all but i personally wouldn't buy any
behringer gear. the quality varies incredibly much between
different items of the same model and they are generally known
to have a whole lot of problems. not to mention the sound that,
well at least to my ears, is a little "metal-ish". for real, i've heard,
heard about and seen too many mixers etc with channels starting
to get noisy within a couple months, mic preamp stages going null
and SMELLY FRICKIN POOPOO just not working for me to trust that
company. but then again, you might be lucky and receive a unit
that works flawlessly.

word..i got a behringer mixer..but it's lying in the box again got my numark dj mixer hooked up again...the sound quality isnt all that on the behringer...

well the thing is.. i have an akai mpc2000xl studio plus with the 8 channel outboard.. so boom theres 8 tracks right there and also a stereo track.. i have a korg triton studio 61 key that has 4 individual outs and one stereo out.. so total so far thats 12 mono and 2 stereo.. then a stereo output from my turntable mixer.. so thats another stereo.. so far 12 mono 3 stereo.. then i got 2 microphones.. so thats 14 mono 3 stero.. that leaves me with 2 mono and 1 stereo channel on the eurodesk... which is good in case i wanna hook up a bass guitar, extra guitar or a cd player.. i think i'm gonna get the behringer eurodesk because even it the one i get is messed up like these other guys are saying.. i can return it and get another one

i have a behringer eurorack 1604a and have had no problems. i have a friend that bought one and his is flawless too. in reading user reviews of products, it seems that in the last couple of years behringer has been using better parts and seems to have a much better rep than awhile back. and like you said, you could always return it. i would look around at some behringer products at www.zzounds.com and read the user reviews. i know i got alot more mixer than the mackie that was the same price as my behringer. the mackie didnt even have sliders for the channels at the same price level.

i use the eight track behringer eurorack and never had a problem.
