I asked.

why a sample in trim, to put it on loop, works perfectly
However, in program mode, pressing a touch pad (loop) gradually lowers the volume?
no way to make it right, as the word indicates = LOOP
LOOP = INDEFINITELY
WHY NOT?

thanks in advance.

Isn't the trick to hold shift when you trigger the pad? I forget.

It works like that because the program is set to decay over time, but in trim mode it isn't.

To change loops to loops need to be very fast because I'm playing simultaneously other pads at once with loose sounds (the trick requires holding down a pad and then press another button which I find very uncomfortable). and the other reason is because several of my mpc pads are bad (there is sometimes work and sometimes they do not) then use it via midi connected to a Octapad which for the things I do I find more comfortable touching them with sticks (as will be understood to maintain pressed a pad with a stick is almost impossible to stretch the hand up to press the other button

just loop a sequence with the sample in it instead of the sample itself...

While usually the correct solution, if he wants to play 'live' he may not be able to do this the way he wants to work... need a usage description though before I think we can give a good solution to the problem.

You read my mind, actually, is my friend he needs to play a live performance it next weekend, and since he has annoyed some of his MPC pads, as he would like to trigger loops from Octapad (quickly). So I do not know how to solve this.

We still need more of a "he wants to do x to produce result y" description if you want to get any ideas/thoughts/workarounds.

i think the question was about a loop performance mode,
thats on my wishlist since day one.
just having samples to loop by a simple press of a pad, without having to hold down another button.
the sample should keep looping, and when the pad is triggerd again it should start at zero and not stop.
I know I can use the an audio track for looping, but that doesnt allow me to loop 2 samples with different length.
