I have an opp. to cop a 4000 via trade tonite. What I want to know is about the Keygroups function on the 4K. If I sample middle C on the 4K can I make that sound a keygroup and have the ENTIRE RANGE OF KEYS across my MPC or midi keyboard?
I have a 2500 and it's too dayum long/frustrating to do it on here cuz the sampler isn't made for that. That's y I use a motif es and 2080 rack. However......
If I can do that then Im gonna sample the sounds I want off both the racks and sell them both using the 4K as my EVERYTHING for sounds. On the 2500 you have to sample like 5 diff. notes from each octave and assign them to the pads which is SOOOOO time consuming it makes no sense to do.
