help a rookie out

already just got the mpc week ago and i figured out a bunch of stuff but still not enough i got couple of questions 1st lets say i record the snares and kicks on one sequance and then on the second sequance i record lets just say claps and on the third something else now if i wanted to put them all together is it possible 2nd question on the program lets say nuskool set u hit the pads and u get the sounds and u only like the way pad number 2 and 8 sounds can i pick a diffrent program and keep the nuskool
and record a beat or do i have to assign my own pads the way i want
please help me out im really new to this thanks alot peace out

the thing you want to find out about is tracks.

a sequence consists of a set of tracks. you put your snares on track 1, kicks on track 2, all in the same sequence. all the tracks in a sequence are played simultaneously.

1st quest: MODE,pad 13(Seq Edit) make sure the edit field is at "copy" and the mode, on the right side of the page is in "merge" not replace. from there you can combine any track or sequence

and i not sure about your second question
