Really? You need to put some work in homie. Ain't nobody gonna help you get off square one. Print the manual out and go take a 2 hour sh*t. Or go to youtube and search out some tutorials if you're the visual type.

When you get to square two, come back with some informed questions and we'll be glad to help. Or use the forum's search function. Come on man....

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Straight comedy, aint you the same dude asking if the 2500 is best for live gigging with a band?

At ten yrs old, I was taking apart broken tape recorders and using the parts to fix a boombox, and I didn't even read a book on how to do it...I just did it. Forget the internet homeboy and put some brain cells to work, lock yourself in a closet and learn that machine inside out. The question you asking is the most basic and the heart of an MPC. Don't disgrace us again next time.

ok - but as I'm sure you realise, the mpc is not a toy and is pretty complicated

asking "how do i sequence" is not a question that can be answered simply or quickly, it's a bit like saying "hey guys I've just got a car, how do I drive it?!" -- there are a lot of steps and it's going to be a learning process

for the very basics: assuming your mpc has the default patterns and samples loaded in it still, one the main screen (press MAIN to get back there) select a Program (Pgm) so that there are samples assigned to the pads. when you hit the pads you should hear them play. then hit Record, and start hitting pads. The number of Bars (top right) says how long the sequence is.

Read pages 6 to 15 in the manual. All of them. Then read them all again.
