Effects Engine Failed To Load

after leaving it off for a little has it been working? mine has been working fine since then.

ok, so this has been a topic for years now. I changed the HD for a larger one after a few months.
that didn't solve it, but thankfully it doesn't come often. however, I have noticed that it comes more often when it's colder i my room. That made me think, a bad connection to the HD, or somewhere else inside mpc5k perhaps?

that does it, I'm takin my mpc5k apart tonight.
I will check for bad connections, to see if I can fix my boot error and LFO>VCO1 modulation problems. no warranty left and no client support from Akai any longer. This day has been full of bad news for my gear
