Hey guys, this is my first forum post (I'm considering it to be a bad thing because its the first problem I haven't been able to work out myself  :D )

Anyways, I upgraded to the 2500 about a year ago now and have never looked back. About two weeks ago I realized that I was still using JJOS 3.09 and that 3.10 was available. So I hooked up 3.10 and ... now no matter what I do my MP always starts on zero contrast and on every other start up, auto loads my internal memory. This happens EVERY time, no matter how many times I switch off auto load and adjust the contrast. It happened when I got 3.09, but that time I corrected it first time round, pressing [main] and all the rest, and it never happened again.

Is it just being buggy?? I've looked at it each way I can and have no idea, so I'm going back to the previous version. Problem is, I haven't got it!! I can only find 3.10 on the internet although I swear I read somewhere on the JJOS site about an archive of older versions.

Can anybody help me out finding the free version 3.09??

Cheers folks!

Peace from Ireland :D

Hm... replying to myself!

I got it sorted. I loaded a random project, then re-saved it ('entire memory') and its been fine ever since. Well, I've booted it up four or five times with no problems. I just thought about doing it half a minute after I posted.

Mental.

Sorry for wasting forum space!!!

Cheers! :D

i saw something ages ago, about this in the online manual,

regarding pressing 'Main' before a switch off, this saves certain new PRAM things, like contrast etc.... cant fetch the link right now, but for anyone not inclined to reply to their own posts and even fix their own problems (hehe) then try looking for that first.
