Data wheel/Program problem

Greetings. I've got some problems with my data wheel. It works fine when you want to say switch sequencer, BPM and so on but whenever I want to change Type or PGM it just doesn't work! Nothing happens, despite that I'm spinning that wheel like my life depended on it. The - &+ buttons doesn't work either.

I'm a novice so it could basically be anything. Any ideas on what it could be?

No one knows the remedy for this problem? Just been back from Asia and was hoping someone would have replied lol. Guess I'll have to turn it in to some shop. Anyhoo I would Very much appreciated if someone would give some advice if they have Any advice at all!

If the wheel works on everything other than track type and prg then it sounds like a software issue.

Re-install the OS.
Maybe also try JJOS free version out.

If re-installing OS's doesn't fix it then I'm outta ideas

Aight I'll try that out. Is the original OS included when you buy the MPC? Can't recall it did.

If not I'll probably try the JJOS free version out as you said.
