Hello everyone. Its been a very long time since ive been here. I sold my old 1K a while ago and since i will be going back into the army i will be able to afford the 5K. My question is has anyone had any experience with the Akai monitors. I havent heard of any reviews or anything yet. I wanted to know what their frequency response is like. I had the yamaha monitors and sub in the studio that i sold and im trying to get away from having to have a subwoofer. But i guess if I have to have one thats fine too. So if anyone hasnt heard them or hasnt seen any reviews (besides akai reviews) would you be kind and send me some recommendations. Thanks.

yeah well the reason i asked about frequency response is becuz a lot of companies kind of false advertise their range. or when a note is played within some of their freqs it sounds like crap. thanks for the reply though i guess i will go to GC or Sam Ash today and check some out. The problem is they mostly suck here in Richmond,VA when it comes to hip hop.
