Hello everyone!

I'm a happy owner of MPC 5000.I've red the manual many times, but didn't find answer for my question.
I would like to Hook up my turntable to my MPC 5000. I know it's via RCa ( white, red " L,R" ) cables, but do i Need really a mixer to hook it up ? My setup will be like this " TT, to MIXER and from the mixer to MPC. My question is, do i need a DJ mixer, or analog mixer ? and how to connect this all ? And the position of the switch in the back of the mpc should be LINE/ or PHONO ?

Greetings from Poland

just plug turntable into your mpc and set switch to phono

if you want to use a mixer (why ?) : output of mixer into mpc and switch on line
