Im waiting for the price to come down a bit more and ill pick it up for my lil girl, I heard the demos on the site but ive never used 1.
funky little thing, lil overpriced when it came out tho.

I think Hilltop Hoods (boywithpez007 will know) use one for their beats... Which doesn't mean alot unless you like their beats. I was thinking of getting one at one stage. Apparently they're pretty good. Never used one, though.

Another nice example of making beats with what you like to use and not what every cnt tells you is TZU, they use an old roland sp-808!!!!!

The microkorg has small keys only. So if you've got lumberjack hands (like I do), it might be a bit hard to play.

i'm picking one up when they go to a second pressing > i think $200 sounds fair but past that it's a tad pricey for the range of sounds IMO. heckava cool little board though with vocoding...
i went the SH-32 route for 2 bills in lieu of the Micro and i've been happy with it : you might check those out as they're cheap and in competition for the Micro + built in drum noises that you can edit and sequence like and arppegiator...

i have one D. they're tight. of course they dont havee bread and butter sounds but it has some good synth, bass, strings and atmospheric $hit. i dont use it as much now that i have my motif rack but thats only cause im short on inputs. the keys being small isnt that big of a problem

I have one. I rarely use it. Most of the presets suck, you have to learn to program sounds yourself. It's sort of a pain in the ass, because you have a few knobs that are used for many different things, so knob tweaking is more of a chore.
I have a Roland SH-101 that I use way more often. It's real analog, not analog modelling. Warmer analog sound, the MicroKorg sounds really digital. And the SH is almost the same size as the Micro. The SH is monophonic, so no chords, but for basses it's cool.
I wouldn't get a micro unless you're going for a really digital synth heavy sound.....or unless you want a vocoder.

it's ok but limited, if you have other keyboards I would say go and get it if this is your only one then it's not woth it.
