I ain't a sheep who follows cultures or is biased towards a manufacturer.

I have had both an Akai and a N.I Product??????.

I'm sorry to say but the maschine is terrible and weak compared to an akai even the 500.

Wouldn't it be cool if i had the balls to urinate over my maschine that is collecting dust ,Perched up in the corner next to a guitar i cannot play.

This an akai mpc forum. The ni and dare i say it, beat thing topics are spam. They are OFF TOPIC where they should be posted. We are adults , music production is and should be taken serious. Posting a topic about another product in the wrong forum deliberatly is childish. Thats why. Post about cherry pepsi in a coke a.cola forum if you want to act like kids.

"MPC Studio Environments
For topics about all the equipment in your studio and how they interact with the MPC"

Ah right - this isn't the part of the forum for other kit in your studio besides and MPC then?

So all the topics about Maschine - Machinedrums, Microkorgs, Access Virus etc etc etc should all be locked and the posters banned from the forum?!

Fair enough

Sorry, you are mistaken. This is the 'MPC Studio Environments' forum and I created it for people to discuss all the other equipment they have or want to have in their studio. While the entire forum is targeted toward MPCs, this sub forum is people's chance to discuss any equipment they want including 'rival' products to the MPC.

I agree - these days, people want to do business with companies who are more open, who are actively listening to their customers requests, who have public forums for open and honest discussion. I haven't tried Maschine yet, I hear the hardware isn't great, so if they can sort that out, it could be a fantastic product. I'll have to try it when I get a chance.
