Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

yo. so i wanna load my beat from scsi to my mpc 2000 I press load n my scsi starts to go crazyyy. Wait.... SCSI not ready... Wait.. SCSI read error. Like what the f? Somebody had this kind a error ? :roll:

maybe some suggestions ? cuz i have a beat n cant save it. My mp is on for 2 days lol

Maybe a dead drive and if u have stock floppy installed buy some and save them
No beat is worth leaving the mpc on for two days .....

I had a trick for this, what I did was to eject the zip disk and insert it again. Right after the first sounds from the zip drive, then you can load. It seems like it might have gone to sleep or something. Hope it works...

Did you plug in the SCSI drive and turn it on before turning on the MPC?

If you plugged in the drive after the MPC was powered on, the MPC will not see it.

Thank you all for replays. Unfortunately my scsi got the click of death.. Well back to old school with floppys : )
