Ok,whass up everybody I was reading the forums and somebody is really mislead about the MPC. I started out a Roland user back in the TR-707,D-20 days and later on I bought my first MPC-3000 since then I've owned a 3000le and a 2500 they are all gone now and I have an MPC-5000 now.but when I had my 3000 I would use it like you would an MV-8800....oh yes it is very possible vocals and all so the 5000 to me just makes it all the easier. The is a machine that is truely who you are,....that whatever you put into it you get a clearer mirror image of.it's not just for a couple of dope hip-hop beats and a few ideas it's way deeper than that.

Well if the 5000 is who you are then im a mental patient having multiple mental break downs!

I havnt had a chance to finish making any beats on this thing as since i bought it in september 2010 it has broken after a few hours use rendering it useless.

Third time back to Akai!

Im like a mental patient having break downs going in and out of hospital!!

Funny, as if i am what any of my Korg products are then im a super slick health freak, who also looks great!

Nah, golfzerosafari means you're spamming this forum wherever possible with the same bad experience you had with the 5K. The one thread you created should be enough..

I'm just responding to peoples posts- if someone is wondering whether to spend big money on something iv had a terrible experience of then if i where them id rather know that so i could go and investigate and make up my own mind.

Besides, i was trying to get a rounded response to see if it just seems to be my bad luck or if many are having the same problems. And they are major problems.

If i had a working 5000 id be spending my time on that rather than on here!
