Anyone ever mess with this?

JUst wondering if you can record straight from the mp into this thing....So sick of having my recordings sound like poop..

I have an external burner like this, but why use of of these now? You still have to burn a cd ($) to hear your music.
I use audacity now. Its free, and sounds great. Record into the computer 2track style the exact same way you would a cd-rw, add your effects, bounce tracks, convert to WAV or MP3, and it won't cost you a penny!
