Pads: Four zones?

I apologize if this is a stupid question...
Can the mpc1000 do the 'four zone' thing like the mpc4000? I can't seem to figure how to do it...

are you talking about ASSIGNING 4 different sounds to each pad at the same time?

If yes, do it in the "program" field

the 1000 is the only mpc i've had so i don't know about the others

Yeah, I'm talking about assigning four different sounds to one pad. And making the mpc play the different sounds according to how hard you hit the pad.
Can the mpc1000 do this?

YOU CAN DO IT BUT YOU CAN ONLY ASSIGN 3 SAMPLES AND NOT FOUR WITH THE 1K!GO TO THE PROGRAM WINDOW!!!!!!
