Directory Error with Flash card

whats up 1k fam,

I have a 256mb compact flash card that was working perfect, but now everytime I try to save something to it I get "Directory Error". Ive only used about 30mb of the card so I should have plenty of room on it. Has anyone ever seen this before? Any help would be appriciated, Thanks.

YEAH THAT HAPPENED TO ME TOO JUST YESTERDAY FOR THE FIRST TIME WITH THE AKAI 32MB CARD.!!!??????DOES IT STILL HAPPEN??

Yeah its still happening to me. I dont know what to do either.

TRANSFER your programs and samples, sequences etc to your pc or mac via the usb port
then re-format your card and transfer it all back

give it a try..
see if it works

the owners book tells how to format the card
just remember you will erase the info on the card if you do this
so transfer your samples somewhere else first
