STUCK ON START SCREEN MPC (128MB INSTALLED) HELP!!!!

after just downlding os update i switch it back on my mpc and it wont load pass start up screen were it says mpc2500(128mb installed) ive also held down tap tempo and it just says mpc 2500 update wrong card can somebody help me pls

dude i'm having the same problem! i upgraded my akai mpc 2500 to jj os v3.10 and now my machine is stalling!!!! it just reads mpc2500 16mb installed! Im at a stand still for now and don't know what to do! i wish i can revert back to v1.24

Make sure your cf card is pushed all the way in. They tend to creep out a little bit sometimes and will get stuck on the start-up screen. It happened to me and I noticed the mem card was sticking out a little, pushed it back in and it started up like a charm.

Hopefully you didnt force the card in and bend a pin.

Maybe you should upgrade to 128MB first
